This intro is a gentle overview of the front end, for many like me, it is a refresher course that adds new skills to old capabilities. I look forward to diving more into the back end of development.

Do I need to learn javascript? in this professional certificate it wasn't mentioned that we need to do the front end course but in the videos it says that next lesson is javascript but it is not

Pretty good intro to HTML and CSS although with so much crammed in and relatively few exercises, the reward you get is really down to how much the individual student chooses to practice.

All it takes really is building a sound technical knowledge of how things work. And i am happy this course help in even improving my knowledge on things i knew, and things i didn't.

There is one bad moment.

In several tasks you have to guess right code. Page looks as expected, but grader has rules which are not described in task, so it get some nerver from me.

Overall the course is solid, and provide a good, but broad understanding of the topic. An area that could be improved is the assignments, they feel a bit too guided and easy.

Course is good. Topics are slightly off from the intent of this course. Weeks 2-3 are mostly on HTML/CSS/Bootstrap which are more related to Front End Development.

could use some more of hands on and problem solving to solidify the learning of new concepts

less hand holding and more do it yourself and solve this problem

its an amazing course but i wish that they went more into depth and gave more examples of how things worked together and more hand on examples and practice

some typos here and there and the labs towards the end were not graded, but all in all, a great way to jump into the basics of front-end development

Everything is well explained and will be easily understood by even people who are new to the technology world. Keep up the great work, coursera

Very basic course with easy assesments. Maybe even 3 stars, but I am thrilled in waiting for other courses in this Specialization

A great introduction to the internet world and it's technologies. Could've been more challenging if included more labs.

Everything was fine but in my opinion there was a lack of practice guide how elements change on website using Bootstrap

I hope it had more videos than articles. I also hope that bootstrap was explained in more detail. But it was good.

The course's name is introduction to backend development but they taught all about front end. kinda confused now.

some lab assignments has same basic logic to implement. I think we should have more differnt kind of labs to do

There are some bugs in assignment gradings. Apart from that everything is of excellent quality.
