Make sure you repeat videos, and have a basic technological understanding of how technology works before starting this course. Take the time to understand terminology as it moves quickly

Very well made! This course, while being "Introductory", actually does cover many aspects in depth - and goes beyond what I expected. Very pleasantly surprised!

Title: Exhausted by the Course: Too Much Theory, Not Enough Practice Rating: ⭐ As a participant in this course, I must express my deep disappointment with the learning approach adopted. While the subject matter is undoubtedly important, the excessive focus on theoretical aspects has left me feeling drained and weary. The course content seems to prioritize lectures and discussions over practical, hands-on learning experiences. Instead of immersing students in real-world scenarios or providing interactive exercises, the majority of the time is spent passively absorbing information through lectures. This one-sided approach fails to engage learners effectively and fails to reinforce concepts in a meaningful manner. Moreover, the pace of the course feels sluggish. Weeks go by with little opportunity for active participation or practical application of the material. This lack of momentum only adds to the sense of fatigue and frustration among participants. In essence, while the course may cover the necessary theoretical foundations, its failure to balance theory with practical application has resulted in a draining learning experience. As a student, I long for a more dynamic and engaging approach that encourages active participation and fosters a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Until then, I fear that many participants, myself included, will continue to feel exhausted by the course's inadequacies.

Seems well structured but is outdated, Xcode seems to have changed a lot. It also goes through parts where suddenly it is telling you to open a pre-existing project which it doesn't give you so you cant follow along. Very discouraging when you're just starting to learn and you're having to constantly google why everything on Xcode is missing etc.

This course feels like you are listening to someone reading a script, going through definitions and step-by-step instructions without really explaining what any of it means. To top it off, the script they give you doesn't even work in the first project, as evidenced in the discussion forums.

The first couple of weeks were very well paced and easy to follow. the third week was very sink or swim and I found that I didn't learn most of what I was doing and rather just copying what the narrator was telling me to do.

Very few concepts are covered. Gave more focus on roles rather than hands on coding. No tutorial for swift language and iOS app components

The hands-on simply does not work.

This course does a decent job of introducing you to a variety of terms and concepts used in mobile app development. However, the final assignment is to code your own video player and the course makes almost no attempt to actually explain what any of the code does or means.

I am unable to use this course for my son. It's dated with version 13.4.1 of the app. MAC Sonoma forces one to use Version 15 of XCode and the 2 are completely different. The codes don't seem to work
