An excellent course for those who want to boost their programming abilities on Python. It tackles diverse and challenging problems, for you to practice and round out every concept. Highly recommended!

Course presentation is good. Topic selection is good. Selected Strings, Lists, tuples and Dictionaries, using these program logic can be build. Examples are good and interesting. assignments are good.

Not at all for beginners, or even intermediate python learners. There are dozens of much better resources for learning python than this course The content puts all its emphasis on using python to solve abstract mathematical puzzles. The quizzes are at best aggravating and offputting to learners. This course feels like it was put together by someone who likes to show off how clever they are and demoralise learners.

If you're interested in solving brain teasers, this is the class for you. If you're interested in a crash course on Python, this certainly is not that. You'll spend more looking up how to solve the brain teasers than learning to program.
The teaching style is awful, level of detail is inadequate, and the quizzes are not representative of the material. This is thus far the worst course I've taken on Coursera.

The excercises are not explained afterward. It is not always clear what you want us to do. Itis better to give more exercises in the beginning easy ones to understand better the syntax and semantics. You start to fast with calculating when the syntaxes are not clear. More exercises or better explanations.
I want to stop this course !!!!!! I don't want to pay for this I will learn it myself with a book.

I stopped after week 1 because I couldn't tolerate the instructor any further. I'm sure she was providing good information, but the delivery was more suited to a 4th grade classroom. I'm an adult and I felt like I was watching a childrens channel. If this course gets updated with a new instructor, maybe I'll try it again. I'm genuinely not trying to be mean, but how could Google think this is ok?

This course is way too dense and way too difficult. If you are looking for a place to learn Python. I recommend taking a different course, AND THEN coming back here. The issue with this course is that they teach you to take baby steps, but the quizzes and tests expect you to be running a full marathon already. They have discussion forums, but the "instructors" are no help whatsoever.

Very hard for beginners. Not much help or clarity in exercises. Cringe instructor who amkes it seem so very easy. Could be instructed better with more clarity and helpful exercises. First week of module was fine. Second week was very hard. If you want to get better at Python use Youtube or other online sources. If you want a degree go to an actual college.

The videos are too fast for one to grasp anything
Then the random questions in the videos are totally different and hard compared to what the video is teaching about.
Should emulate the teaching method done by the tutors on your google data analytics certificate program.
The readings are very short and don't have enough substances for one to understand

This course is not a good intro to coding, and I don't think the instruction would be very helpful even for an intermediate coder. The lectures layout concepts very simply, but than test you on vastly more complex versions of those concepts, or seemingly completely different concepts altogether. I would not recommend this course for anyone.

I feel like I am taking a Math course instead of a programming course. All the Test are like Math word problems. I have taken several other Python course on a different site and they were much more enjoyable because it was a programming course, emphasis on programming not on Math word problems. I would not recommend this class to anyone.

If you are a complete beginner this is not for you. The instructor talks really fast I was struggling to retain all the information on normal speed. Then it jumps between topics without a logic.
I have done many courses and certifications over the course of my life and this one stands by far as the worst course I have ever done.

this couse deserse ZERO stars!!!! many if not all the students that attemded this course cert, have troube with the final project, they ask for help and the help that has been given, does not help but complicates the problem. bugs and glitches with the jupyter notebook are suspected. i can not continue with this cert course.

I cant unenroll after completing, I had to complete the specialisation. Coursera is using students to earn money nothing else. Unenroll section said you loose if you have completed the course. But now i cant unenroll and get myself enrolled in next course. This course was easiest I didn't have to do this.

Course did not teach me Python as much as try to teach me how to use black box software. I want to code, not plug data into already written code. Yes, that would be fine in the future, but there is no good explaination as to what is expected by using these, I will call them subroutines.

I'm a beginner and the videos don't help you with the quizzes at all. I've spent more time typing and retyping the code based on the videos than actually learning and gotten nowhere due to extreme frustration. Total waste of time, moving on to a different Python course.

Are you kidding me!! This instructor does not know how to teach. I am more lost than ever... with her Whoo Hoo and all is just not professional. I cannot believe you have this as a course. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I wanted to give less than one star. How do I cancel

Not good. When stumped there is no where to talk to anyone on what I am doing wrong.
There is no feedback on what is wrong, only when I figure out the code on what is being done correctly.
It if frustrating and hard to figure this out when you are all alone.

I like the course but I doubt I'll be able to get the certificate. I'm not great at math and while I can get through the lessons, the tests aren't coding tests, they are math tests. Unless you're really good at math you're going to struggle with this one.

For Practice Quiz: Lists Practice Quiz. • 30 min. • 6 total points available.6 total points. In my opinion, code that completes the required outcome should not be marked as incorrect, as there are many ways to code a problem. This is just petty!!!

The course feels like an online class at college. I hated college. I much prefer Codecademy's style of lessons. Wanted to get right into it with downloading Python, Anaconda, etc. Watching video lectures and take quizes ain't it..for me at least.

The video information does not carry over well to the quiz material. This course makes the quiz material very hard to grasp and does not allow you to practice the basic skills because you are too caught up looking into pointless arithmetic.

Solutions are buggy. Quizzes do not provide a solution. Hard to learn if there are no solutions. The first two weeks of the first course is pretty bad. I would recommend Google's Professional Certification in Data Analytics instead.

WARNING: if you try to sample this course and see how it is for 15 minutes , you will be enrolling yourself into a subscription that make you pay over $50 from your payment method even if you never really even started the course

Introductory videos were too long and too many and the learning experience would be better without them. The lecturer was repetitive and artificially excited. There is no need to tell me I am doing great in every video clip.

NOT FOR BEGINNERS. They even tell you in the course to go learn Python some where else. Save the frustration and do that first. If you want to be certified, go learn Python first, then come back here to take the tests.

rushed, missing information and if the code is closely correct... an explanation of the best practice would have been better. of course, outside research can be done but this course needs more than just 3 minute videos.
